The School Day

Currently, school opens at 08:00 for breakfast club. Parents can send their children on any given day if they wish to attend. For more information about breakfast club click here.

The school doors open at 8:40 and children must arrive in their classroom by 09:00 to be registered on time. We encourage families to arrive early as it is great time to catch up with friends and ensure our children arrive on time to have a settled start to their day.  The school is open for 32.5 hours per week.

Breaktime is at 10:30 and Lunch is at 12:15. Children either have a school meal provided by our catering team or they bring a packed lunch. Please send your child with a healthy lunch. We also ask that NO NUTS are brought into school as we have children with nut allergies. If your child wishes to bring a snack for breaktime, this should be fruit or veg.

We have regular assemblies and this could involve learning about our values, key world events and singing. On Friday we have a special celebration assembly to celebrate all of our achievements this week. 

The school day ends at 2:45. The door is opened a few minutes before the end of the day and is supervised by staff. We ask that all children are collected punctually.
