Shared Education

We are proud to be part of a dynamic Shared Education Partnership between Queen Elizabeth II Primary School and Knocknagor Primary School. This collaboration represents a meaningful commitment to inclusion, mutual respect, and enriched learning experiences for all our pupils.

Shared Education is a key initiative in Northern Ireland, designed to bring together schools from different sectors to work in partnership. Through joint activities, shared learning and collaborative teaching our pupils benefit from:

  • Broader social experiences and friendships across communities
  • Enhanced learning opportunities through shared resources and expertise
  • Improved confidence and communication skills
  • A stronger sense of community and inclusion

Together, we are building bridges, celebrating diversity and creating exciting opportunities for every child to thrive.

Joint School Adventure with Knocknagor Primary

At the end of October, our pupils set off on an exciting joint trip with Knocknagor Primary School and the anticipation for exploration was sky-high!

The day was packed with adventure: exploring the forest, tackling orienteering challenges and taking part in team-building activities. Most importantly, the children had the chance to make new friends and share unforgettable experiences.

We’re already looking forward to our next event together—watch this space!
